Birth Control, Visualized: your comprehensive guide to birth control in an infographic.

As a designer, I love to see information laid out in a visual and informative way. So when Kevin Krauth asked if I could write a post for the Orderly Blog, I jumped at the chance to put together an infographic.

Then came the hard part: deciding on a topic.

Fortunately, we had a lot of help from our users. Since making Louie — our friendly healthcare bot — generally available to the public last fall, we’ve had a lot of people log in and ask him questions related to sex, reproductive health, and birth control. It’s a topic that isn’t always talked about in the open, but what you take and do to your body for the sake of family planning is a decision that is both extremely consequential and extraordinarily personal. To me, it seemed like it should be easier to find sex-positive information so that we can all make informed decisions when it comes to our sexual health.

That’s why I put together this guide. At Orderly we’re on a mission to make your healthcare easier. This is my latest contribution.
